This animation created by Sravani Vadlamani, a doctoral student in transportation engineering at Arizona State combines the
MapStory application with our Directory of Major Malls data to create a great animated visual depiction of the growth of major
shopping centers and malls, both open-air and enclosed, in the US over time.
