Javits welcomes the Hudson Yards to
the neighborhood

 Hudson Yards, a $20 billion, 28-acre retail, office,
hotel and residential complex on Manhattan’s West Side, is situated only
steps away from the Javits Center. Hudson Yards was recently dubbed
“the largest real estate project in U.S. history.” Here’s why:

Its nearly 1,000,000 square feet of retail space is
expected to be anchored by a Neiman Marcus (up to 200,000 square feet),
marking the first foray of the 107-year-old brand into the Big Apple. The
Fairway Market store (45,875 square feet) will serve as the anchor to a
food market in the South Tower, not far from the planned new headquarters
of Coach.

Hudson Yard’s hotels are expected to add 3,200 rooms to
New York City and will showcase some of the most innovative architecture.
One example: Hudson Spire, a 110 story, 1,800 foot tall tower, (two
blocks from Javits) with floors 21 through 85 designed for three separate
high-end hotel properties will become the tallest hotel property in North
America.

Yards will treat its anticipated 25,000 daily visitors to a choice of 20
five-star restaurants prepared by unique globally-renowned chefs
representing an array of the finest international cuisine.
